  • Review only service you personally experienced.
  • Describe the service—not a server’s appearance, identity, or private life.
  • Be truthful, specific, and fair. Do not post reviews in exchange for rewards.
  • Do not include phone numbers, addresses, private schedules, or other personal information.
  • Harassment, threats, discrimination, explicit content, and impersonation are not allowed.

Moderation

Waiterate may hide or remove reviews that violate these guidelines. Use “Report review” on a server profile if something looks inappropriate or false.

Waiterate stores the ratings, optional display name, written feedback, and submission time that you provide. If you request restaurant access, it also stores the contact information you submit.

How information is used

Public reviews appear on server profiles. Private feedback is not displayed publicly. Submitted information is used to operate, improve, and protect the Waiterate pilot.

Your choices

You may leave the name field blank to post anonymously. Never include sensitive personal information in a review. To flag a review for privacy or removal, use its “Report review” link.

Service providers

Waiterate uses Netlify for website hosting and Supabase for database services. These providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site.
